Founder & Managing Director
Jennifer brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and senior strategic judgment in the energy and utilities sector. Over the last two decades, she has delivered nuclear capital programs and digital systems, set strategy for multi-billion-dollar programs, led national practices at two global consultancies, and helped write the standards that govern how the industry adopts new technology.
At Ontario Power Generation, Jennifer set the digital strategy for the $20.9 billion Darlington New Nuclear Project, the G7’s first commercial grid-scale Small Modular Reactor. She led design engineering for the first of four units in the $12.8 billion Darlington Refurbishment program. Jennifer also established OPG’s first fleet-wide cyber security organization, protecting more than 70 generating stations across nuclear, hydroelectric, and thermal generation.
From OPG she moved into management consulting, leading PwC’s National Nuclear Generation Practice and then Accenture’s National Power Generation Practice, advising utilities and generators on digital transformation and AI. Throughout, she has helped shape the rules the industry works to. She co-authored Canada’s first cyber security standard for nuclear facilities and has contributed to international research on AI and digital twins in nuclear operations.
Jennifer holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. She serves as Board Director of the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries and is Co-chair of the Canadian Nuclear Society’s Disruptive, Innovative, and Emerging Technologies (DIET) Conference. She also serves as a Governor of Havergal College, an independent girls’ school, and is committed to mentorship and growing the talent pipeline for the next generation of energy professionals.

How we work
IonVantage is built to deliver clarity quickly, with senior attention on every engagement and the flexibility to scale as programs grow. Every solution is tailored to what each client needs, informed by practical experience and industry best practice.
We start by understanding the real problem — operational, regulatory, and human — before proposing anything.
We challenge default thinking before recommending a path. The goal isn’t a digital coat of paint on old processes; it’s rethinking how the work gets done, so clean energy gets built faster and better.
Recommendations are designed to be implemented safely on the ground, not admired on a page.
We work with utilities, generators, suppliers, investors, and boards across the energy sector. A focused conversation is the best place to start.
